Superstar Rajinikanth was last seen on screen in Karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta released this Pongal, and following this the actor is now busy with his 167th movie Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss.

After Darbar, Rajnikanth's next movie will be directed by Siva whose thala Ajith starrer Viswasam which released alongside Petta had impressed Rajnikanth and he had met the Director and confirmed the project as per reports.

While there was a news making rounds that Siva - Rajni combo's movie will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, now the latest speculation is that music director D Imman who composed for Viswasam and is also scoring music for Siva's movie with Suriya might compose music for Rajnikanth movie as well. An official announcement is expected soon.
