‘Raju Weds Rambai’ Wins Four Awards at Gaddar Awards 2025

The cult rural blockbuster “Raju Weds Rambai” has achieved another proud milestone by winning four major honours at the Gaddar Awards 2025. The film, which received tremendous appreciation from audiences during its theatrical run and later gained strong popularity on OTT, has now been recognised with prestigious awards including Best Film, Best Director, Best Singer, and Special Jury Award.

Director Sailu Kompati was honoured with the Best Director award for his compelling storytelling and authentic portrayal of rural life. Popular singer Anurag Kulkarni received the Best Singer award for his soulful rendition in the film. Actor Chaitanya Jonnalagadda was also recognised with a Special Jury Award for his impressive performance.

The recognition reflects the film’s strong impact and the appreciation it received from both audiences and critics. With its rooted narrative and engaging characters, Raju Weds Rambai stood out as one of the most talked-about rural dramas of the year.

The film was presented by Dr. Nageswara Rao Poojari and produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi under the banners Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoons Tales. It was directed by Sailu Kompati, whose vision played a key role in shaping the film’s distinctive storytelling style.

Raju Weds Rambai had a grand worldwide theatrical release through Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vasu Works, with distribution handled by Vamsi Nandipati and Bunny Vasu. The film’s continued success at the Gaddar Awards further highlights its lasting impact and popularity among audiences.
