It is not uncommon to see TV stars, especially anchors make it big in cinema (think Sivakarthikeyan). In what appears to be a trend, cashing in on TV popularity and talent, many artists are roped in for feature films. For instance,  Jacqueline of Vijay TV has an important role alongside Nayanthar in ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’.

Following suit, it seems that her very own co-anchor Rakshan also will now appear in feature films. And his debut is all the more exciting as the movie stars Dulquer in the lead role. Yes, Rakshan will be playing an important role alongside the charming actor in ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal’ directed by Desingh Periyasamy. Pertaining to this, Dulquer has himself released a video clip sharing the happy news to fans. 

The film also stars Ritu Varma and the music score has been composed by Imman. Francis Kannookadan is bankrolling the project under the FTS Films banner. You can check out Dulquer’s video below:
