Rakshana - a film on national security

Rakshana is a film that tells that it is the responsibility of every citizen to protect the country when the enemy (country) strikes. The film, starring Rajeev Kanakala in the lead, is directed by Venu and Pal, better known for being choreographers.

Produced by Nassar Jamal, the film also stars Parineeta, Kiran Hukka, Viswajith Pradhan, Vijayendar Gadke and others. The director duo says that they have made the film with their prior experience as choreographers.

The film's sub-title goes like this: Protection for the people. Going by the title, it looks like the lead cast form a voluntary police force to offer protection to the vulnerable citizens.

The film is scheduled to release in February.

Bodyguard's success attributed to Venky

The success meet of Bodyguard was held in Hyderabad today. Speaking at the press meet, director Gopichand Malineni attributed the film’s successful run to Venkatesh and his producer Bellamkonda Suresh.
