'Rakshasudu', the Telugu remake of the Tamil movie 'Ratsasan', will hit the screens on July 18. It will clash with Ram Pothineni-Puri Jagannadh's 'iSmart Shankar'.

Starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran, the remake has BGM by Ghibran. "The music director has begun his work on the movie. We are extremely satisfied with the output. Today, we watched the rushes and are convinced that 'Rakshasudu' is going to be a blockbuster," producer Koneru Sathyanarayana said. The thriller was shot in 85 days.

Directed by Ramesh Varma, its release is going to be by Abhishek Pictures.

Dialogues are by Sagar, while story and screenplay are by Ram Kumar. Cinematography is by Venkat C Dilip.
