Actress Rakul Preet Singh, who is devastated to the see what Chennai is going through, has come forward to do her bit for the needy. The actress will be helping out 5000 people by contributing food and water bottles. She also urged others to help the people of Chennai in whatever way they can. "I`m fortunate to be helping out people who have appreciated and encouraged me," she said.

Besides Rakul, actors like Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja, Prabhas, NTR, Kalyan Ram and others have donated lakhs of rupees to the devastated victims of Chennai and will soon hand over the cheques to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha. Currently, Rakul is busy juggling between the sets of her upcoming films Nannaku Prematho and Sarainodu.
