Actress Rakul Preet Singh is one of the top heroines of South, and has last acted with brothers Karthi and Suriya in Dev and NGK and had also scored her first Bollywood hit with the Ajay Devgn starrer De De Pyaar De released recently.

The actress is now working on few Telugu movies and also a Hindi movie Marjaavaaan. Known for her acrobatic skills and focus on fitness, the actress has next ventured into sports, and has turned an entrepreneur co-owning a team in Tennis Premier league.

TPL was founded by Kunal Thakkur and Mrunal Jain, and Rakul Preet Singh co-owns the Finecab Hyderabad strikers team. The actress had said that coming from army background she knows the importance of sports, and that tennis needs a boost in India, and this is a league to promote young players of India.
