Ram Charan’s romantic drama, Orange, initially failed at the box office when released in 2010. However, over the years, the film gained a cult following, mainly due to its hit soundtrack composed by Harris Jayaraj. Now, after nearly 15 years, the Bommarillu Bhaskar directorial is set for a grand re-release across the Telugu states.
Surprisingly, Orange has created a sensation with its advance bookings, surpassing the pre-sales of recent Valentine’s Day releases – Vishwak Sen’s Laila and Brahmanandam’s Brahma Anandam. The demand for the film is evident, with several shows in single screens and multiplexes across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana either selling out or filling up fast.
Meanwhile, the new releases, Laila and Brahma Anandam, are facing challenges at the box office. Laila has been hit hard by boycott calls and social media criticism, whereas Brahma Anandam is relying on positive reviews to attract audiences.
Despite its initial failure, Orange continues to prove its popularity, reaffirming Ram Charan’s star power and the film's lasting impact.
