Global Star Ram Charan is back in action with his much-anticipated pan-India film PEDDI, directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, the film is slated for a grand worldwide release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with the star’s birthday.
After a celebratory trip to London — where his wax statue, along with that of his pet dog, was unveiled — Ram Charan returned to Hyderabad and quickly immersed himself in the shoot. The production is progressing at a brisk pace to meet the release timeline.
A colossal village set has been meticulously designed by ace production designer Avinash Kolla. Capturing a perfect blend of rustic charm and visual grandeur, this set will serve as the backdrop for a significant portion of the film. The immersive setup promises to transport audiences into the unique world envisioned by the director.
Currently, a high-octane action block and several key scenes involving the lead cast are being filmed. The action sequence, choreographed on a massive scale, is touted to be one of the film’s standout moments.
On-location stills reveal a cheerful atmosphere, with Ram Charan bonding with director Buchi Babu and co-star Divyendu Sharma. Their camaraderie and enthusiasm hint at the creative energy powering the film.
PEDDI also features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Shiva Rajkumar in a powerful pivotal role. With a strong cast, grand scale, and emotionally rich setting, PEDDI is shaping up to be a landmark film in Ram Charan’s career.
