As we all know 2015's critically acclaimed blockbuster 'Thani Oruvan' will be remade in Telugu with Ram Charan Teja reprising the lead hero role played by Jayam Ravi in Tamil. Rakul Preet Singh will reprise the female lead played by Nayanthara in the original while Arvind Swamy has been retained for the antagonist role.

From reliable sources we learn that the shooting of the film will start rolling from today (June 4) in Hyderabad.

The Telugu version of 'Thani Oruvan' has been titled as 'Dhruva' and it will be directed by Surendar Reddy and produced by Ally Aravind of Geetha Arts. Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi will make his Telugu debut scoring music for this film while PS Vinod is in-charge of the cinematography.
