Ram Charan to Dance to AR Rahman’s Folk-Pop Track in ‘Peddi’

Global star Ram Charan is gearing up to dazzle audiences with a high-energy dance number in his upcoming film Peddi. The special track, composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman, is said to be a folk-inspired, foot-tapping number designed to appeal to today’s generation.

For the first time in his career, Ram Charan will be dancing to a Rahman composition, with choreography crafted by dance master Jani. A source close to the production revealed,

“This is the first time Ram Charan is dancing to an A.R. Rahman composition, and he wants to give it his absolute best.”

The actor has reportedly been rehearsing tirelessly with a team of dancers at his home, ensuring his performance matches Rahman’s vibrant beats and racy rhythm. The folk-based track is expected to be shot on a specially erected set near Vizianagaram, adding grandeur to the sequence.

While not a theme song, insiders say the track will radiate positive vibes and strongly connect with the youth audience, making it one of the musical highlights of Peddi.

In addition to this special track, Ram Charan also has a dance number with Janhvi Kapoor in the film. However, that shoot was postponed due to rains and the recent Tollywood strike. With production scheduled to resume on August 20, the actor is preparing to return to sets and once again showcase his versatility and unmatched dance skills.
