The daringly different film "Ram" is the top grosser and could continue doing good business.

1. "Ram": With this film, director Ameer lived up to the expectations generated by his earlier "Mounam Pesiyathe". The story of "Ram" is about the relationship between an autistic son and his mother. Instead of a tearjerker, Ameer made it into a thriller. The film starts with the murder of the mother with her autistic son lying by her side. Yuvan Shankar Raja's music has contributed a lot to the success of the film.

2. "Kannadi Pookal": (Director K. Shahjahan) A powerful emotional drama dwelling in detail about child psychology forms the base of the film Extraordinary performance by the young boy is the highlight of the movie.

3. "London": (Director Sundar C.) Remade from a Mohanlal-Priyadarshan Malayalam film, it provides unadulterated laughter. The film has shades of every Sundar C film before.

4. "Thirupachi": (Director Perarasu) Thirupachi, it is a film for Vijay’s fans who love their star to dance with energy, fight with enthusiasm and love with mischief. He does all this in his usual style. Punchline dialogues, songs glorifying hero find their place in all throughout the movie.

5. "Mayavi": (Director Singapuli) "Mayavi", the film is propped by decidedly top-notch performance as the Carry-like performance of Surya. Be it is an 'innocent' thief or a glib-talking guide, Surya is pure unadulterated fun. His expressions are quick-silver and there is an endearing polish to his performance here.
