Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust head contracts COVID-19

About a week after the Bhumi Poojan in Ayodhya, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust head Nritya Gopal Das has tested positive for COVID-19. The saint happened to share the dais with Narendra Modi.

Also present on the stage were Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath and RSS supremo Mohan Bhagwat in the main.

In all likelihood, all those who were present on the occasion will now be tested. As many as 175 guests, most of them religious gurus, were present.  Most of them practised social distancing and were seen wearing a face mask.

As the yajaman of the event, the Prime Minister participated in the rituals.
