Ram Pothineni, celebrated for his energetic performances and versatility, is gearing up to dazzle audiences once again with his upcoming film #RAPO22. Directed by Mahesh Babu P, known for his hit Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, this much-anticipated entertainer is being produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the renowned Mythri Movie Makers banner. The film also stars rising star Bhagyashree Borse and Kannada superstar Upendra in a key role, promising a powerful cinematic experience.

To celebrate Ram’s birthday, the makers unveiled the film’s title through an engaging glimpse set in the early 2000s. The clip opens amid fan frenzy outside a packed theatre, where the owner struggles to meet demand for tickets to Andhra King Surya Kumar’s latest release. When Ram arrives stylishly on a bicycle—channeling the superstar’s trademark flair—he confidently requests 50 tickets “on behalf of the Andhra King’s fans.” Impressed by his passion, the owner silently agrees. The scene culminates with Ram striking a heroic pose in front of a towering cutout of Surya Kumar as fireworks light up the night. The title Andhra King Taluka is then revealed.

Ram perfectly captures the spirit of a devoted fan despite being a star himself. His performance blends charm, swagger, and sincerity, with memorable moments like his stylish cycle parking and a fresh makeover to suit the role. While the Andhra King appears only as a cutout, Upendra steps in as the on-screen icon, adding depth to the narrative.
