A new film adaptation of the epic Ramayana is being directed by renowned Hindi filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari. The movie will be released in two parts. Leading actor Ranbir Kapoor will portray the role of Lord Rama, while popular South Indian actress Sai Pallavi will play Sita. The character of Ravana will be played by Kannada superstar Yash. Sunny Deol is cast as Hanuman, and Rakul Preet Singh plays Surpanakha. Filming for the movie is currently underway.

In the latest update, actor Yash is set to begin shooting for his scenes as Ravana. Before starting, he visited the famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to seek blessings from Lord Shiva. A video of his visit has gone viral on social media platforms. During a brief interaction after worship, Yash expressed his devotion, saying: "I am very happy. I came here to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. I am a devoted follower of Shiva and prayed for the well-being and happiness of all."

The film has generated significant buzz for its star-studded cast and mythological storyline, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
