One of the popular heroes of the 1990s is actor Ramki who made a comeback to acting with Venkat Prabhu directed Biriyani` after a long break. Now the actor has signed up to play an important role in English Padam` directed by debutante Kumaresh Kumar.

The film, which is touted to be a comedy thriller is being produced by R,J,M,Vasuki of famous Ad film production company, R.J.Media Creations.

Ramki says that though he is neither the protagonist nor the antagonist of the film the role he plays in English Padam` will take him to the next level as an actor.

Sanjiv of Kulir 10 fame plays the lead hero in this flick while Meenakshi and Madhimitha act in important female characters.

Music is being scored by M.C.Riko while Sai Suresh handles the camera. The shooting of English Padam` is progressing at a rapid speed.
