Ramya Krishnas Jayalalithaa web-series: New details out

Early this year, there was this news that Gautham Menon will direct a web series based on Jayalalithaa's life. Produced by a national daily for MX Player, the series has been directed by Menon in collaboration with Kollywood director Prasath Murugesan.

The news is that the series is not a biopic but a historical-fiction. Ramya Krishna's character is named Shakti and it's loosely based on the late Tamil Nadu CM's persona.

Titled 'Queen', it is going to be a 10-episode series also starring small-time Kollywood actresses Anjana, Anika and others. Inderjit from Mollywood has a big role in the series.
