Rana may produce Hindi film in 2013

Rana Daggubati is planning to turn a producer, that too a Bollywood producer! I want to produce films in Bollywood. However, they won't be remakes. My idea is to produce beautiful, entertaining films. You may see me as a producer next year, the soft-spoken actor says.

At the moment, it may be too early to predict that Rana intends to grow as a full-time Bollywoodian. But it does seem reasonable to presume that he will do more of Hindi cinema in the coming years. Given Rana's physical attributes, it might be more apt for him to do non-regular roles in non-formulaic films there. Though he could pull off the role of a lover boy in Naa Ishtam, the audience found it a bit unsettling, which proves that they expect him to do something very different.

Being a film personality with a mind for intelligent cinema, he is seen making the right choices nowadays. If he has signed on Selvaraghavan's bi-lingual, he has also teamed up with Adithya Bhattacharya for the remake of Aamir Khan's Raakh, titled as A Momentary Lapse Of Reason, which is an ambitious Hollywood project.
