Fans of Ranbir Kapoor, who are eagerly waiting to see their idol’s upcoming film ‘Besharam’, can now finally mark the date on their calendars. Unlike most other movies, which release on Fridays, Ranbir’s flick will hit silver screens on October 2, which falls on a Wednesday.

Incidentally, this is Ranbir's first film to have a worldwide release mid-week. Confirming the news, director Abhinav Kashyap said that as most people have a holiday on October 2 (which is Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday), they decided to release the film on that day, so as to ensure maximum audience.

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Besharam’ also stars Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Pallavi Sharda.
