Ranveer Singh is all praises for King Khan during 'Cirkus' promotions

Bollywood livewire Ranveer Singh is one of the most popular and sought after actors of his generation and like most of his contemporaries, he also idolises superstar Shahrukh Khan. Known for his larger than life romantic hero image, Shahrukh Khan has been an icon of Bollywood for around three decades and in a recent media interaction, Ranveer stated that he would be lucky if he's able do a fraction of what Shahrukh Khan has done.
Ranveer is currently promoting his upcoming film 'Cirkus' and since SRK also started his career with a TV show called 'Circus', Ranveer was asked whether he sees himself being the equivalent to SRK in coming years.
The actor replied, Aaj King Khan thodi bane woh kitne saalo se King hai. Aapne meri shobha bada di mera naam unke saath leke. Unko dekhke toh kabhi socha tha ki hum bhi actor banenge. Woh toh humare idol hai. Unka jo contribution hai Hindi cinema mein it is one of a kind. Bass unki tarah jaisa unhone pyaar kamaya hai aur bata hai logon mein uska tinka bhi kar paaun toh meri life fulfill ho jayegi.”
