Ranveer's 'Pin' formula for 'Lootera' scene

Ranveer Singh is a method actor and all his directors can vouch on this. For him, there are no half measures whether it is in pleasure or pain. Only two films old, the young actor is known to give his projects all the attention and goes all out to give it his best shot.
Apparently, in one of the sequences of ÂLootera he was supposed to be in pain. And the actor asked for a safety pin and repeatedly pierced himself while giving this particular shot. The director and the unit members were dead against it, but RanveerÂs argument was that it is a really poignant scene and every stab of pain was enhancing his performance.
When the team later saw the performance on the edit table, they were sure it would touch the heart of the audiences...
Like they say, No Pain, No Gain!!
