Director N. Lingusamy has delivered some of the biggest commercial hit films in Tamil in the new millennium such as 'Anandham', 'Run', 'Sandakozhi' and 'Paiyaa'. His next is a Telugu/Tamil bilingual that had the working title 'RAPO 19' which is nearing completion.

It has been announced officially that 'RAPO19' has got the powerful title 'The Warrior' and the first look poster shows hero Ram Pothineni looking majestic in a cop uniform. Sensational young actress Kirthi Shetty plays the female lead while Akshara Gowda and Aadhi play other pivotal characters.

'The Warrior' is jointly produced by Srinivasa Silverscreen and Pavan Kumar with music by Devi Sri Prasad, Sujith Vasudev handling the camera and Anbariv taking care of the high octane action sequences. The film is expected to land as a grand Summer treat for fans.
