Rare honour to Telugu man in Oscar jury

Oscar India jury has roped in director-producer CV Reddy as a member of the panel that will select Indian films which will be sent to the Academy Awards committee for nomination.
CV Reddy, one of the eldest and most distinguished industry personalities, has rendered a yeoman service to the Southern film industry by holding several positions in film associations, etc.
He has been a member of the panels to select the winners of State awards at both the regional and national levels.
The process of finalizing the selections in the foreign-language category will begin from the 16th of this month in Hyderabad. The panel, headed by Reddy, will select one film out of many.
