South Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna has officially signed on for a new film with actor Vijay Deverakonda, who is also rumored to be her boyfriend. The duo previously starred together in the hit films “Geetha Govindam” and “Dear Comrade.” After a gap of six years, they are reuniting for a new project.

The upcoming film, tentatively titled #VD14, is a period drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan, best known for his work on “Shyam Singha Roy.” Set during the British era, the film is expected to begin production soon.

Rashmika agreed to star in the movie after hearing the script. With her schedule open following the completion of recent projects like the Bollywood film “Thama,” Dhanush–Sekhar Kammula’s “Kuberaa,” and Rahul Ravindran’s “The Girlfriend,” she was able to allocate dates for this new venture.

Adding to the buzz, Rashmika recently shared a heartfelt birthday message to Vijay on Instagram, referring to him affectionately as “Vijju.”

Their professional collaboration and off-screen rapport continue to spark excitement among fans, making this film one of the most anticipated upcoming projects in South Indian cinema.
