Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most bankable actresses in the film industry today. She is juggling numerous films in South and Bollywood as well. The actress carved a niche for herself as the most popular actress with her work and her filmography in her last few years is proof of it.

Before she soared to international popularity, the actress was a favourite of Sandalwood viewers, having made her breakthrough in the Kannada film Kirik Party, starring her ex-boyfriend Rakshit Shetty. Over the course of time, the actress was able to captivate Telugu and Tamil audiences with her performances in films such as Geetha Govindam, Dear Comrade, Sulthan, Pushpa: The Rise, and many others.

Kirik Party, directed by Rishab Shetty, was one of the most successful Kannada films of 2018 which was also Rashmika Mandanna's debut film, that catapulted her to popularity. Rishab Shetty celebrated the six-year anniversary of the romantic comedy with a flashback post in which he tagged everyone except Rashmika Mandanna, amid rumours of a conflict between the two.

The Kantara actor took to his Instagram handle to share a lot of pictures from the sets of his iconic film as well as some stills. “Even after six years of Kirik Party. your noise is still echoing in the ears. Makes me look back again. Thank you to everyone who was part of this celebration!" Rishab Shetty tagged Rakshit Shetty, but didn’t include Rashmika Mandanna’s name.

For the uninitiated, reports of probable animosity between the two celebrities have been circulating since Rashmika Mandanna declined to disclose the production company that had signed her for her debut film. The production company is Paramvah Studios, which was co-founded by Rakshit Shetty, a close friend of Rishab Shetty.
