Rasika Dugal on working with Naseeruddin Shah

Rasika Dugal is a really talanted and expressive actress who chooses unique and off beat characters to portray. Recently, she had the opportunity to work with legendary veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah in a short film and she feels honoured to share screen with him. The short film reportedly focuses on the relationship of a father and daughter.
Rasika is a Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) graduate and 14 years ago, Naseeruddin was her mentor at FTII.
Rasika told in an interview with a leading news outlet, He is that rare combination of a great actor who is also a very good teacher. So much of what I know about my work is based on the invaluable fundamentals I learnt from him at FTII. I am more sure of myself as an actor today but, around him, I become that nervous and keen student again. There is still so much to learn from him.
