The just landed teaser of 'Raatchasan' directed by Ramkumar and starring Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul in the lead lures you with its intriguing theme of death itself as the main antagonist.   The spine chilling voiceover that warns about the inevitability of death flying above as a bird  ready to swoop down and strike without warning at any moment.  The shots show Amala Paul's character, a school girl, Muniskanth and others under threat and Vishnu Vishal is the cop who takes it upon himself to track down the Ratchasan who has no form and who warns him that even if he catches him it would not be him.

It is worth recalling that five years back Ramkumar made the outrageously hilarious 'Mundasupatti' starring Vishnu as the hero as well. The first thing that hits you is that the director has totally immersed in a new genre with not even a hint of his previous work is present here even though he is working with almost the same cast of Kaali Venkat and Muniskanth.

'Raatchasan' teaser has been cut to Ghibran's sinister piano notes mimicing the hearbeat or the ticking clock.  Overall the teaser is a sure sell for the lovers of the supernatural genre.
