Tamil actor Ravi Mohan issued a strong statement on social media addressing ongoing rumors and legal battles related to his personal life. In a heartfelt message posted on platform X (formerly Twitter), he said, "All these years I was being stabbed in the back, now I'm only glad that I'm being stabbed in the chest," and signed off with "First and Final One From My Desk! With Love, Ravi Mohan 'Live and Let Live.'"
In his detailed statement, Ravi accused his estranged wife of mental, emotional, and financial abuse throughout their marriage. He claimed his silence was for survival and said the decision to seek divorce came after several efforts to save the relationship. Ravi shared that he has been denied access to his children and was unaware of a recent accident involving them until contacted for insurance documentation.
The actor also alleged he was forced to sign as a guarantor for a large loan taken by his ex-wife’s mother. He rejected accusations against him and claimed he had handed over half his assets and continued supporting financial responsibilities even after separation. Ravi criticized false public narratives surrounding the case, especially concerning custody matters.
Refuting allegations that singer and therapist Kenishaa Francis caused his marriage’s downfall, Ravi clarified she offered emotional support during difficult times and should not be disrespected. He vowed this would be his final public statement and highlighted that men too can be victims of abuse.
This comes shortly after his wife, Aarti Ravi, shared her side on Instagram, accusing Ravi of abandonment and financial neglect. The divorce and custody case is still ongoing, as both parties make their cases publicly and legally.
