Actor Ravi Mohan has decided to step into direction after completing his ongoing film projects. Following his divorce, he has shifted his focus back to movies. On his birthday, he announced that he should no longer be called "Jayam Ravi" but instead be addressed as "Ravi Mohan".

Currently, he is working on two films, Parasakthi and Karate Babu. After finishing these projects, he plans to make his directorial debut. In preparation, he is actively involved in screenplay development between his shooting schedules. Furthermore, he has decided to both produce and direct his first film.

The upcoming film will be a comedy-centric story, with popular comedian Yogi Babu playing the lead role. Ravi Mohan has expressed his desire to become a director in various interviews, often mentioning that Yogi Babu would star in his film.
