'Kanithan' Telugu remake plans firmed up

Indiaglitz had reported earlier that young actor Atharvaa's latest release 'Kanithan' which is running successfully in theaters will be remade in Telugu soon.
Now plans for the Telugu remake of this action thriller seems to be firmed up. The film's debutante director T.N.Santhosh has confirmed in his recent interview that Tollywood star Ravi Teja has watched the film recently and has agreed to star in the remake.
Santhosh further revealed that Teja will be taking up this remake before his other commitments. Santhosh will be most probably directing the Telugu version also.
The heroine and other cast and crew members will be finalized soon and we can expect an official announcement after that.
'Kanithan' is the story of a young journalist taking on a fake certificate mafia.
