Re-digitalised version of Sridevis Padaharella Vayasu to release in July

'16 Vayathinile' (remade in Telugu as 'Padaharella Vayasu'), the 1977 romantic drama, is soon going to have a re-digitalized version. The memorable movie, which starred Sridevi as a 16-year-old girl Malli, had Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in other lead roles.

Helmed by P Bharathiraja, the movie's new version will release in the month of July as 'Neekosam Nireekshana' in Telugu.

The makers have composed songs afresh instead of going with the original soundtrack. The masterpiece 'Sirimallepoovaa Sirimallepoovaa', the song composed by Ilaiyaraaja and rendered by S Janaki, has been replaced with 'Sendoorapoovaa'. Sung by Deepika Thiagarajan and composed by KK, this song has been streaming on Aditya Music's YouTube channel.
