Re-inventing himself

Everyone knew Srihari to be a competent actor.

But the big burly man, with biceps that look like mounds in mountains, was inevitably cast in action roles. His physique precluded the creativity of filmmakers. In the event, he was either a good-hearted rowdy or a honest police official.

And then Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana happened.

It was a film that opened the imagination of people and suddenly people did also realize that Srihari could actually act in other kind of roles.

Ergo, such offers are coming his way.

Chief among them is with Kamal Haasan in his Telugu version of his Tamil movie Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu.

Srihari is set to play the second hero in this Gowtham Menon directed and D Raj Verma produced venture. The film is being shot in Vizag and Kurnool, and soon the crew will fly off to USA.

Elsewhere, Srihari is also cast in a pivotal role in Sumanth's new film under the direction of Samudra. The movie has both romance and action --- something that Srihari revels in.

So Srihari has finally managed to re-invent himself.
