Bharath can afford to smile from ear to ear.

The young hero has been having a whale of a time of late. His recent release Kadhal is doing well, while his Chellamae has completed 100 days run in theatres all over the State.

Attributing all his success to director Shankar, who gave him a break in Boys, Bharath says it helped to start with a taskmaster like Shankar. "Playing a negative hero in Chellamae or a low-class mechanic in Kadhal were never easy. I had to mould myself for the characters that were made possible thanks to the directors (GandhiKrishna and Balaji Sakthivel) respectively. And my grounding with Shankar came very handy".

Bharath is currently acting in a movie titled February 14 to be directed by a Shankar's associate Ho Chi Min. It will be produced Chandrasekhar, who made Sullan.
