Now days every celebrity is just one click away. Everybody are there on the social networking sites. But wait! Not the "Most Gorgeous Woman" of Bollywood. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's absence from any of the social media is evident. However the actress herself has no qualms about it.
Although she is well aware about its reach and fan connection, Aishwarya is happy to be far away from it. Calling it a mere number game (in terms of followers), Aishwarya in an interview revealed that she doesn't feel like getting into this rat race. She pointed out that several celebrities often employ agencies to keep their (social networking) accounts running and increase their fan base.
Aishwarya appreciated that Twitter is a wonderful tool to set the facts right. But since it is seen as a barometer for popularity, she is not bothered about it. Aishwarya said that through Google she knows how big is her fan base and she is satisfied with it.
Aishwarya stressed on the fact she comes from a family where most of the members are from cine industry. She respects the fact that both her husband, Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan are very active users of social networking sites. But she is least interested to be on par with them in that space. "Out of respect for my husband and my father-in-law, I don't need to be a part of this at this point of time!", quoted Aishwarya, who made her big screen comeback with the recently released film 'Jazbaa'.
