In July this year, it was announced that Mahesh Babu's 28th movie will hit the screens in Summer next year. Director Trivikram Srinivas and his team have zeroed in on the exact release date. 

Haarika & Hassine Creations' S Radha Krishna and Naga Vamsi S today announced that the crazy project, which is going to feature action scenes, will be released on April 28, 2023. "The Reigning Superstar will arrive on 28th April 2023! Get ready to witness Mahesh garu in a scintillating Massy look and high octane entertainer," the producers said. 

Naveen Nooli is editing the movie, while PS Vinod and Thaman are on board to do cinematography and music, respectively. AS Prakash is taking care of art direction. Pooja Hegde is going to romance the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor. 

For SSMB28, Mahesh is working with fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens. He will be seen in a macho avatar in the movie. 

The film, which is yet to be titled, will go on the floors soon.
