Why the Release of Idli Kadai is Further Delayed

The release of Dhanush’s film Idli Kadai, initially scheduled for April 10, has been postponed. Dhanush is currently focusing on his upcoming Hindi film directed by Aanand L. Rai. The exact completion date of this project remains uncertain, which has led to delays in the release of Idli Kadai. While speculations about the delay were previously unconfirmed, it has now been officially postponed.

The producer, Aakash Bhaskaran, revealed that some portions of Idli Kadai still need to be filmed abroad. The team is currently coordinating with the actors to finalize their dates. Only once the cast’s schedules align will the overseas shoot be planned.

Because of this delay, only the film Good Bad Ugly will be released on April 10. Idli Kadai, directed by Dhanush, features Rajkiran, Arun Vijay, and Nithya Menen in key roles, with music composed by G.V. Prakash. The production team is expected to announce a new release date soon.
