Remya Nambeesan opens up about casting couch

Casting couch has been a major deterrent for aspiring actresses in the film industry. Sri Reddy’s revelations which set the media ablaze is an example for that. While this is a problem that should be immediately dealt with, popular Tamil actress Remya Nambeesan has come up with a suggestion.

In a recent interview, the actress stated that while she doesn’t ignore that casting couch is prevalent in the industry, she also said she never had to go through it. However, Remya opined that the only way to get rid of casting couch is by talking about it. Saying that it exists not only in cinema industry but also in other industry as well, she asked women to be strong and talk about it.
