Suriya’s upcoming film Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, has unveiled its much-awaited trailer, giving audiences a taste of what’s to come. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead, and the ensemble cast includes names like Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Joju George, and more.

The trailer kicks off with a quick introduction of these characters, setting the stage for a fast-paced, gripping narrative. Amidst the chaos, Suriya’s softer side is briefly shown as he makes a heartfelt promise to Pooja Hegde—vowing to leave behind his violent ways.

But soon, it becomes clear that he’s caught in a brutal world where walking away from rowdyism isn't easy. His transformation from a man of principle to someone almost monstrous is portrayed in gripping frames.

The world of Retro is stylized and chaotic, filled with quirky, eccentric characters. Karthik Subbaraj, known for his offbeat storytelling, appears to be exploring a different narrative flavor this time.
