In his inimitable style, Ram Gopal Varma is making insinuations. Dragging in the infamous Viceory Hotel episode (which sealed the fate of NT Rama Rao and resulted in Chandrababu Naidu capturing power more than 2 decades ago), the director says that JD Chekravarthy may not be playing the role of CBN in the film.

"The media reports that J D Chekri is playing the role of CBN are as truly false as much as falsely true of CBN not at all playing his role in the Viceroy Hotel drama. I swear this both on my mother and grandmother on this truth I don`t know who`s playing who between me and Lakshmi`s NTR but JD Chekri for sure is not playing CBN, but I really don`t know what CBN was not playing at what was really playing at the Viceroy," he says in an RGV-esque social media post.

'Lakshmi's NTR' will go on the floors in March. It will hit the screens in October.
