Ramgopal Varma who made Raktacharitra-I and II on the faction fued between Paritala Ravi and Maddhelacheruvu Suri families is angry with TV channels for using the song 'Kathulatho Savasam' to show Suri's death. News channels which are doing special stories on Suri's death and history of faction fued between Suri and Ravi, have been using RGV's song as the backdrop music.

The song was sung by Ramgopal Varma himself. Since the song suits the incident and more so is related to the same person Suri, who died, news channels are using it repeatedly in all their shows.Infact, Raktacharitra-II which has Suri's charecter potrayed by Suriya is still in theatres while Suri was murdered. City has a lot of posters of RC-II at various places even as the real life person behind the charecter was murdered.

Irritated, Varma tweeted,

TV channels are using Rakta Charitra background score to cover the ongoing Suri murder case. Life can't get more ironical than this
