RGV performs Shanti Homam for BR

Soon after the announcement of the title of the film 'Bejawada Rowdylu' by Ram Gopal Varma with Naga Chaitanya in the lead, there were lots of protests across the Krishna district and there was a lot of pressure on him either to change the title of the film or shelve the project.
Even, the police also did not give permission for shooting in the wake of protests and objection by the people. Shooting of the first schedule was abruptly stopped in Vijayawada and the unit had to return to Hyderabad.
As the film is being made with Vijayawada in its backdrop, the unit is gearing up to return to shooting. In this backdrop, Ram Gopal Varma performed a Shanti Homam for the successful completion of his film directed by Vivek on Friday.
Even the film unit had erected a huge set with Goddess Durga in Vijayawada and are insisting that the shooting should be done there. If the police fail to give permission, RGV is planning to take up shooting in Guntur.
