Rich Pune man spends Rs 2.89 lakh on gold mask

Cloth-made face masks protect you from Coronavirus. But gold-made masks protect your image as well. This seems to be the philosophy of a cash-rich man from Pune, who ordered a face mask made of gold and got one.

News agency ANI has reported that the mask is worth Rs 2.89 lakh. He wore it and posed for the media.

"His name is Shankar Kurade. It's learned that the gold mask is thin. Have no doubts about whether he can breathe. He can breathe well through its very minute holes. He feels that the mask can effectively keep coronavirus at bay," a reporter comments.

Hope people get inspired to add gold masks to their 'Yedu vaarala nagalu' kit.
