Richa Chadda's 'Golden' emotional moment

Richa Chadda earned massive appreciation for her performance in 'Masaan'. The talented actress has made it in the industry on her own accord and film by film she has given power packed performances. Be it her role in 'Gangs of Wasseypur' or Bholi Punjaban in 'Fukrey' her characters are remembered by audiences. However her last outing with 'Masaan' has had a lasting impact. The film has created a stir and appreciated by audiences and critics across the world. However there's this one person who moved her to tears with appreciation -and it is her dearest mom.
Richa's mother, who is also her biggest critic, recently made a surprise visit to Mumbai and gifted her a pair of gold earrings. On opening her gift the actress was almost in tears as she realized these are ancestral earrings which her mother was gifting her. She was almost speechless and enveloped her mother in a big hug. The earrings as Richa describes are her great grandmother's from the paternal side which have been passed on from generations.
Her mother shared how she is absolutely proud of how she has made worked so hard to make her dreams come true. She has watched 'Masaan' thrice and wanted to gift her something which would truly be of value, hence the gold earrings.
Shared Richa, "I always had my eyes on them but had no real hopes of getting them since my mother is very possessive with them. My parents may not express their feelings but gifts like these make me realize how proud they are of what I'm doing which in turn makes me work hard and better so I can do them proud at every stage". Richa will next be seen on big screens with 'Main Aur Charles', opposite Randeep Hooda.
