Nivin Pauly's first straight Tamil flick 'Richie' box office report

Nivin Pauly’s ‘Richie’ was a much anticipated film as this was the actor’s first straight Tamil movie. The movie which last Friday has been recieving mixed response from fans and critics alike.

However, the movie seems to have performed considerably well at the box office. As of last weekend, the film was screened at  seventeen theatres with 164 shows. ‘Richie’ which saw a good 85% audience presence in theatres has reaped in a considerable Rs.71,82,749 in profits also which is considered a good opening collection.
