Ritesh Deshmukh to make his directorial debut with this film

Actor Ritesh Deshmukh is best known for his comedic performances in multistarrer films and he has also surprised the audience with his sinister portrayal of a serial killer in the film 'Ek Villain'. Now Ritesh is going to attempt something entirely new in his career. After being an actor for around 18 years, Ritesh is going to try his hand at directing.
He is going to produce and direct a Marathi flick which also stars him in a primary role. The title and other information about the project are still under wraps but the buzz suggests that filming has already started.
A source close to the development told Times Of India, The film will be wrapped in about two months. The shooting has just begun and Riteish has been very busy with it. As a producer, director and actor on the project, he has multiple things to look into. Hopefully, it will be shot in a single schedule and will be released next year with fanfare. It’s a very special story and something that cajoled him to venture into direction eventually.
