Popular Radio Jockey and actor RJ Balaji has got what remains as a dream for many actors who have spent decades in Kollywood. Yes, he will be acting in director Mani Ratnam's next film with Karthi and Aditi Rao Hyadari in lead roles. The yet to be titled film is expected to go on floors this week.

Balaji became hugely popular for his wittiness as a RJ and then he started participating in Television reality shows. Director Sundar.C. launched him as an actor in Kollywood with his 2013 super hit 'Theeya Vela Seyyanum Kumaru'. After that Balaji has carved a niche for himself as a comedy actor with the films such as 'Naanum Rowdy Dhan', 'Vadacurry', 'Pugazh', and 'Idhu Enna Mayam'.

Now he is acting in director Rajesh's 'Kadavul Irukkaan Kumaru' with G.V.Prakash Kumar and at this moment he has bagged a dream opportunity of acting in a Mani Ratnam film.
