Radio Jockey turned actor RJ Balaji had taken care of the story of the 2019 movie Lkg, the political satire starring himself as the lead, and following this had made his debut as a director with the movie Mookuthi Amman starring Nayanthara.

Now after the success of Mookuthi Amman, RJ Balaji is again set to join with his co-director NJ Saravanan and together they're directing the Tamil remake of 2018 Bollywood superhit Badhaai Ho starring Ayushmann Khurrana.

While RJ Balaji himself will play Ayushmann Khurrana's role in the Tamil remake, the latest buzz making the rounds is that RJ Balaji is planning to sign Priya Anand as the female lead in this remake. It must be noted that Priya Anand had acted with RJ Balaji in LKG.
