Robert De Niro is one of Hollywood’s most legendary actors. The 80-year-old star has won the Academy Award for Best Actor twice – once for his roles in ‘Raging Bull’ and ‘The Godfather Part II’. Over the years, he has delivered memorable performances in several iconic films including ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘The Irishman’, ‘The Big Wedding’, and ‘Joker’.

A few years ago, in an interview, De Niro shared that he had recently become a father for the seventh time. Now, another great honor is coming his way. He is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 78th Cannes Film Festival.

The prestigious award will be presented to him during the festival kicking off on May 13th. This recognition celebrates his incredible contributions to cinema spanning several decades.
