We already reported to you that Suriya-Jyothika's 2D Entertainment is presenting actress Sai Pallavi's next film 'Gargi', directed by Gautham Ramachandran of 'Richie' fame. Rockstar Anirudh took to his Twitter to launch the official trailer of 'Gargi' today.

The 3-minute-long trailer presents us with glimpses of a hard-hitting story. 'Gargi' looks like a common woman's legal battle to prove her father's innocence in court with the help of a struggling lawyer with a stuttering mouth. Kaali Venkat has played the main role alongside Sai Pallavi. This film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada on July 15.

'Gargi' seems to have been packed with powerful performances backed by a scintillating musical score by Govind Vasantha. Premkrishna Akkatu & Sraiyanti's visuals and Shafique Mohamed Ali's cuts add more dimension to the trailer. Sai Pallavi has dubbed with her own voice in Kannada for the first time. This film marks the Sandalwood debut of the actress.

'Gargi' also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Kalaimaamani Saravanan, RS Shivaji, Jayaprakash, Prathap, Sudha, Livingston, Kavithalaya Krishnan and others. The movie is jointly produced by Ravichandran Ramachandran, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Thomas George and Gautham Ramachandran under the banners Blacky Genie and My Left Foot Productions.
