Swiss Tennis champion Roger Federer has pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics 2020, set to begin later this month, due to a knee injury. Federer, who underwent two knee surgeries in 2020, was knocked out of Wimbledon by Hubert Hurkacz in the quarter-finals last week.

Other major Tennis players who withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics include Stan Wawrinka, Nick Kyrgios, Simona Halep, Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, Simona Halep, and Dominic Thiem.
